Drunk woman, friends thrash hospital staff, disrupt emergency services

A late-night scene at a north Delhi hospital turned chaotic when a 28-year-old woman and three companions showed up injured and were allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
They reportedly argued with doctors, got physical with security staff, and damaged hospital property, so much so that emergency services were disrupted and the doctor had to call the police for help.

Police quickly brought things under control.
Now, the hospital is taking legal steps under a law that protects health care workers from violence.
Officials are also working out how much damage was done so they can recover costs from those involved.
