Goa nightclub fire: Delhi court says no bail for accused brothers

India

A Delhi court has denied bail to Gaurav and Saurav Luthra, who are accused in the tragic Goa nightclub fire that killed 25 people.
The brothers had asked for bail, saying they feared for their safety if sent back to Goa, but the court didn't buy it—there was no real proof of those fears.
Since they fled to Thailand right after the incident, this ruling also clears the way for their deportation back to India.

Court highlights flight from justice and serious charges

The judge pointed out how quickly the Luthras left India after the fire and questioned their intentions.
There were also some red flags about their travel plans—like booking flights within hours of the incident.
Prosecutors said they ran the nightclub without a valid license, which made things worse.
The court decided not to lift travel restrictions on them, making sure they'll have to face charges in Goa.
