India
Chennai's roads have taken a beating after recent rains, with 13,227 potholes popping up across 2,953 roads, including main bus routes and local streets.
The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) is on the job and has already fixed 1,531 spots to help make travel safer.
Kodambakkam tops list with 1,204 potholes
Kodambakkam tops the list with 1,204 potholes on just 205 roads. Other zones like Thiru Vi Ka Nagar, Ambattur, Teynampet, and Alandur are also struggling.
In Adyar alone, repairs are done at the most damaged spots.
Besides patching up roads, the GCC is using pumps in places like Royapuram and Adyar to clear out waterlogged areas, so getting around should get easier soon.
