Greater Noida West's La Residentia shaken after owls injure 6
People living in La Residentia, Greater Noida West, are pretty shaken after six residents were hurt by owl attacks in just four days.
The birds have been swooping down on people mostly in the evenings and at night, making walks around the society a bit nerve-wracking.
Worried locals have reached out to the forest department for help.
Forest department advises helmets and lighting
Most attacks were reported among residents of Towers 4 and 5, with owls spotted on trees, streetlights, and other parts of the society.
After one person shared their scary experience on the society group chat, more came forward with similar stories.
The forest department and bird experts checked things out on September 12, but only spotted one owl so far.
Officials think the owls might be protecting their nests and have advised residents to wear helmets and improve lighting while they keep monitoring the area for a possible rescue plan.
