Gujarat deploys police and CAPF for June 21 NEET-UG retest
Gujarat is taking no chances for the NEET-UG retest on June 21.
With 79,411 students heading to 211 centers, police are assigning one officer for every 80 candidates.
Traffic teams will help everyone get to their exam on time, and CAPF troops are stationed in districts with test centers, all because last month's exam was canceled after a paper leak.
Gujarat police monitor fake NEET claims
Authorities are keeping an eye on social media and messaging apps for fake news about the exam. Photocopy shops near centers will be closely monitored too.
Separate frisking areas have been set up for male and female candidates, with instructions to treat everyone kindly.
Police are also watching people linked to previous leaks, and traffic plans in cities like Ahmedabad and Surat aim to keep things running smoothly.
Earlier this week, two were arrested for spreading false claims about the NEET paper, but no leaked questions turned up.
