Heavy rain floods Bihar affecting over 48L across 15 districts

Floods have disrupted life for more than 48 lakh people across 15 districts in Bihar, with heavy rainfall pushing river levels above the danger mark in places like Digha and Bhagalpur.
The good news? Water is slowly receding, though some areas are still at risk, especially after this month's unusually high rainfall.
Bihar government opens kitchens and camps
To help those affected, the Bihar government has set up 1,251 community kitchens and 13 relief camps, offering food and shelter to thousands forced from their homes.
Around 1,790 boats are out for rescue and supply runs.
Plus, teams from the NDRF and SDRF are on the ground working hard to get people to safety and support communities as they recover.
