Himachal Pradesh: 5 killed in separate road accidents
Several tragic road accidents hit Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday, leaving five people dead across Kangra, Mandi, and Hamirpur districts.
In one incident, a couple from Kinnaur lost their lives on the Karsog-Rampur road, while their daughter is in the hospital with serious injuries.
Another crash near Tiyale Da Ghat in Hamirpur claimed two more lives and left four others hurt.
Driver of overloaded pickup truck tried to escape after crash
In Kangra, a pickup truck carrying 18 pilgrims crashed into a tree—one person died and 13 were injured.
The driver tried to escape but was caught by police.
Authorities are now investigating all these cases to figure out what went wrong and how to prevent such incidents in the future.
Police officials stated they are examining every detail to prevent similar occurrences.
