Tamil Nadu: Driver dies after lorry overturns on Chennai-Bengaluru highway

A lorry accident early Tuesday morning on the Chennai-Bengaluru Highway took the life of S. Velusamy, a 50-year-old driver from Karur.
He was driving toward Chennai when he lost control near Vannivedu village around 5:30am causing the lorry to overturn and fall into a pit away from the carriageway.
Sadly, Velusamy didn't survive the crash.
Police have started an investigation
People passing by quickly called Walajah police, who arrived to recover both Velusamy and his vehicle.
His body was sent for postmortem at Vellore's Government Medical College Hospital.
Police have started an investigation to figure out what led to the accident.
