Arshdeep Singh is an Indian professional cricket player from Punjab. In 2018, he made his List A debut in domestic cricket for Punjab in Vijay Hazare Trophy held between 2018-2019. The left-handed batsman was a part of India’s squad in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2018. Singh was born on February 5, 1999, in Madhya Pradesh. He started playing cricket at the age of 13 and played several state-level tournaments. Singh made his international debut in youth cricket at the 2017 ACC U-19 Asia Cup against Malaysia. Singh gained recognition after playing in the U-19 Challenger Trophy for India Red Team. He was bought by the Kings XI Punjab team in December 2018 during the IPL auction. Following this, he made his debut for Kings XI Punjab on April 16, 2019. He was also named as one of the five net bowlers for the Indian cricket team’s Sri Lanka tour.
