Abdul Samad is a right-handed Indian batsman and right-arm leg break bowler who plays for the Jammu and Kashmir cricket team in the domestic cricket and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. Born on October 28, 2001, he made his debut in domestic cricket in February 2019 for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He has also played in the 2019-2020 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Samad made his First-class cricket debut in December 2019, during the Ranji Trophy. On September 29, 2020, he made his debut in the IPL. Samad has played 21 domestic matches, as of 2021.
