IMD warns of heavy rain across Tamil Nadu and Kerala
Heads up: The IMD has put out a weather alert for heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and nearby areas this week, thanks to a Western Disturbance and cyclonic activity over the Arabian Sea.
Expect thunderstorms and gusty winds along the southern coast from November 7-10.
IMD warns Kashmir of heavy precipitation
Kashmir valley should get ready for isolated heavy rainfall/snowfall on 12 November, while Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh can expect gusty winds up to 60km/h over the coming days.
The IMD is warning about landslides and waterlogging in these regions.
Meanwhile, Delhi can expect clear skies with some morning fog on November 8; temperatures are expected to stay around 28°C to 30°C for the maximum and 14°C to 16°C for the minimum.
