IMD warns of heavy rain in Bengaluru through October 15

Heavy rain and strong winds hit Bengaluru on Friday night (October 10, 2024), bringing down seven trees and causing waterlogging in several parts of the city.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) says more wet weather is likely through October 15.

Traffic jams, flooded streets in parts of city

Major areas like Electronics City, Indiranagar, and Outer Ring Road saw traffic jams and flooded streets, making commutes tough for many.
While two vehicles were damaged by fallen trees in Basaveshwaranagar, thankfully no one was hurt.
