Big news for travelers: India just approved seven new bullet train routes, making city-hopping way faster.
Soon, you could get from Mumbai to Ahmedabad in under 2 hours, or zoom between Bengaluru and Chennai in just over 1 hour.
Delhi-Varanasi and Delhi-Siliguri are also on the list, promising much shorter journeys across the country.
Ashwini Vaishnaw announces 200-plus trains, ₹115000cr
Bihar is stepping up its rail game too.
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw kicked off a weekly Chhapra-Anand Vihar train and announced new services connecting Maul to Delhi and Zahirghat to Varanasi.
Over 200 more trains are planned for Bihar over the next seven to eight years, thanks to major ongoing projects worth over ₹1.15 lakh crore.
