India Meteorological Department warns 2 western disturbances this week
Heads up, northwest India: India Meteorological Department (IMD) says two western disturbances are rolling in this week, with the biggest impact expected around April 3, April 4, and April 7.
So, if you're in the Kashmir Valley, you might see hailstorms and some heavy rain.
Central and Peninsular India are not left out either: expect showers and thunderstorms through April 7.
Daytime temperatures mostly normal across India
Daytime temperatures across most parts of India should stay pretty normal for now.
This follows a stretch of heavy rain in places like Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal, and even hailstorms in parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.
Fun fact: March saw eight western disturbances (usually it is just five or six), which mostly pop up from beyond Afghanistan and Iran before heading east over the Himalayas.
