Indian banks close 6 days Nov 9-15 online banking available
Heads up: banks like SBI, HDFC, and ICICI will be closed on six different days from November 9 to 15 due to a mix of regional festivals and regular weekends.
If you need to get anything done in person, double-check the dates!
Luckily, online banking and apps will still work as usual.
City bank closures and nationwide holidays
Closures start November 9 in Agartala, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Gangtok, Imphal, and Jaipur; Kanpur and Lucknow are closed for Diwali, Laxmi Puja, Govardhan Pooja and Vishwakarma Day.
On November 10, Ahmedabad and Mumbai banks close for Bali Pratipada.
Kolkata and Shimla take a break on November 11 for Laxmi Puja and Bhai Dooj.
Shillong banks shut for the Wangala Festival on November 13.
All banks across India will be closed nationwide on November 14 (second Saturday) plus the usual Sunday holiday on November 15.
