More on the drive

Run every October as part of the Swachhata campaign, the drive has freed up over 231 lakh square feet of space and disposed of e-waste, with some being recycled as part of 'Waste to Wealth' activities.
Projects like recycling hospital waste at AIIMS and using steel sludge for roads show how waste is being transformed into wealth—helping both the environment and the economy.
Plus, ministries across the board are pitching in, making this a true team effort for a cleaner India.
