Indian Railways changes reservation chart timing

Indian Railways just updated its reservation chart rules to make things easier for travelers, especially if you're on the waiting list.
Now, you'll know your ticket status much earlier—giving you more time to plan or change your journey without last-minute stress.

What's new?

Reservation charts will now be ready at least 10 hours before your train leaves (instead of just four).
For trains leaving between 5am and 2pm charts go up by 8pm the night before.
This gives waiting list passengers a real shot at sorting out backup plans in advance—no more rushing to the station only to find out your seat isn't confirmed.
