IndiGo crisis: Civil Aviation Minister promises 'strict action'
India
After IndiGo's recent flight chaos left travelers stuck across India, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu says the government is stepping in.
He assured that "people are our top priority" and promised that action will be taken against the airline once an official probe wraps up.
What's being done for passengers?
Naidu shared that the government has been on it since day one, holding review meetings and working to get things back on track—especially at Delhi Airport, which he now calls "decongested."
He's also told IndiGo to handle refunds, accommodations, and keep stranded flyers updated.
The relaxed duty rules for crew are just temporary; airlines are expected to return to normal standards soon.
