IndiGo flight cancelations drop, travel slowly getting back on track
After days of chaos, IndiGo has cut its flight cancelations at Bengaluru Airport to 151 on Sunday—down from 165 the previous day and 292 two days earlier.
Things stayed steady all day, with just one extra outbound flight canceled after the morning update.
IndiGo brings back more flights and destinations
IndiGo is bouncing back by restoring service to 137 out of 138 destinations and ramping up operations to 1,650 flights on Sunday (up from 1,500).
It's a clear sign that normal schedules are making a comeback after recent disruptions.
Airlines offer relief for stranded passengers
To help travelers stuck in the mess, Air India and Air India Express are capping fares and waiving change or cancelation fees for bookings made by December 4 (for trips until December 15)—as long as you act by December 8.
Regional airline FLY91 is also waiving convenience fees for online bookings this month to make things a little easier.
