ITBP officer holds Bihar cop responsible for sister's molestation

A deputy commandant of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was found dead by suicide in Patiala on Saturday, after family members grew worried when he stopped responding to calls.
A note left behind reportedly blames a Bihar Police station house officer (SHO) for molesting his sister, holding him responsible for his death.

Probe underway, further action pending

Punjab Police have started looking into the serious claims made in the note.
The officer's colleagues broke into his locked room and rushed him to the hospital, but he couldn't be saved.
Senior officials say next steps will depend on what the ongoing probe uncovers, with further action pending directions from senior officers.
