Kailash Mansarovar Yatra begins June 20 with official entry points
India
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is kicking off on June 20, and this year, the government has set up Nathu La (Sikkim) and Lipulekh La (Uttarakhand) as official entry-exit points for pilgrims heading to Tibet.
A fresh group of 44 travelers, 32 men and 12 women, has already arrived in Sikkim, completed its acclimatization, and is ready to start the journey.
Route tough but spiritually rewarding
For many, the trek to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar isn't just a trip: it's a deeply meaningful pilgrimage.
The route is tough but considered spiritually rewarding, with all arrangements now in place for this year's participants.
