Man dies after self immolation in Wazirpur over marriage rejection

A tragic incident unfolded in Delhi's Wazirpur Industrial Area when a 47-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh, Sandeep, set himself on fire at a factory after a 20-year-old woman turned down his marriage proposal.
Despite quick help from factory workers, Sandeep suffered burns and died at the hospital.
Sandeep Kumar left note blaming rejection
Police recovered a note from Kumar blaming the rejection for his actions.
He was married with two children and had only arrived in Delhi the day before.
The woman, who works at the factory and lives alone, has firmly denied any romantic involvement with him.
Police have informed Kumar's family and are continuing their investigation, with an autopsy underway.
