Manipur forces arrest 9, rescue man allegedly kidnapped by Pyusawhti

Security forces in Manipur just arrested nine members of banned groups in the last 48 hours.
In a separate operation, they also rescued a 50-year-old man who had allegedly been kidnapped by suspected cadres of a Myanmar-based armed group Pyusawhti (PSH).
He is now safely back with his family.
Police arrest Kangleipak and KCP members
The arrests happened across Imphal East, Kakching, and Bishnupur districts.
Among those caught were members of the Kangleipak Communist Party (People's War Group) and KCP (Meitei Fingang Lanmee), aged between 18 and 46.
Police even seized a vehicle used for their illegal activities.
These quick actions highlight ongoing efforts to tackle crime networks and cross-border threats in the region.
