Missing Indian woman found in Bangladesh after 20 years

India

Radhika, who vanished from Khajra village in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, during a pilgrimage to Gangasagar nearly 20 years ago, has finally been found—living in Bangladesh.
Thanks to some sharp thinking by amateur radio operators of the West Bengal Radio Club (WBRC) and a clue about "Sagar," she is now set to reunite with her family after an unexpected journey across borders.

How did this happen?

During the Gangasagar Mela in West Bengal, Radhika accidentally joined Bangladeshi pilgrims and ended up crossing into Bangladesh by boat.
With no way to get home, she survived on the streets until local radio enthusiasts connected the dots and reached out to her family.

Family reunion in sight

Radhika's sons, Rajesh and Ganesh (now in Delhi), instantly recognized her when they saw recent photos sent by the rescue team.
With help from both Indian and Bangladeshi officials, efforts are underway to bring Radhika home after two decades apart.
