Modi's Independence Day speeches now in Urdu

India

Modi's Independence Day speeches from 2014 to 2025 just got a fresh Urdu translation, thanks to the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL).
The new book, Kutbaat-e-Modi: Lal Qile ke Faseel se, is packed with over 30 photos and marks the first time NCPUL has spotlighted any Prime Minister this way.

Making Modi's message accessible

Led by Dr. Shams Equbal, the project aims to bring key policies like Swachh Bharat and Viksit Bharat closer to Urdu-speaking readers who aren't fluent in English.
The book thoughtfully adapts important terms into Urdu while keeping their original meaning, and will be available online and at NCPUL exhibitions—helping more people connect with Modi's vision for India.
