Neelkanth Mishra, World Bank's executive director and member of the Prime Minister's Economic Advisory Council, thinks India is set to benefit more from AI than the US.

Mishra pointed out that with so many Indians working in sectors safe from automation—and with lower-cost engineers who can handle AI-generated work—India's tech industry could actually get stronger.
He also said AI could help fix gaps in education and skill-building here.
In his words: "The caricature of India as being negative AI is misplaced." said Neelkanth Mishra
