NEET aspirant Riya Kumari Thapa dies by suicide in Dehradun

Riya Kumari Thapa, a 23-year-old who was preparing for the NEET medical entrance exam, died by suicide at her home in Dehradun on Tuesday.
Her mother found her room locked during lunch, and after breaking in, discovered that Riya had taken her own life.
A note was found at the scene.
Police say academic frustration likely cause
In her note, Riya wrote, "I love you, Mummy, Papa. No one is at fault."
Police said she didn't blame anyone but felt she wasn't doing well enough academically, despite being a school topper with 97% in 12th grade and preparing for a NEET re-exam after not clearing it the first time.
Police said frustration over a lack of success in her studies appears to be the primary reason behind the extreme step.
