Back in 2015, 14-year-old Kiran Yadav from Bengaluru was lured away and murdered by his neighbor Manjunath, who wanted revenge against Kiran's mother for revealing his affair.
Manjunath tricked Kiran with a fake emergency, took him to a secluded spot near Jnana Bharathi University, and killed him.

Manjunath got life in prison

Kiran's father played a key role by going through hours of CCTV footage and helping police catch Manjunath just days after the crime.
Despite witnesses turning hostile, strong digital evidence led to Manjunath getting life in prison in 2017.
The family had to move for safety due to threats but now, 10 years later, the case remains significant in their lives.
