NIA assumes investigation of Suhas Shetty's murder

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has officially taken over the case of Suhas Shetty, a Hindu activist who was killed in Mangaluru on May 1. The Home Ministry called it a "targeted" attack meant to spread fear, and the probe was handed to the NIA.
