NTA issues NEET UG 2026 re-exam guidelines for June 21
Heads up, NEET UG 2026 re-exam takers!
The NTA has dropped some must-know rules for your big day on June 21.
They've spelled out what you can (and can't) bring, how to dress, and what to expect at the exam center, all to keep things smooth and stress-free.
NTA: allowed items, clothing and footwear
Bring a transparent water bottle and your admit card in a transparent plastic pouch.
Religious items like turbans or hijabs are fine; just arrive early since there'll be extra security checks.
Stick with light clothes; full sleeves or woolens are okay if cleared by security.
Go for slippers or low-heeled shoes, as high heels might slow down your entry.
NTA bans phones and enforces frisking
Leave phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, heavy jewelry, and metallic stuff at home. They're not allowed inside.
Everyone gets frisked at the entrance, so being on time is key for a hassle-free start.
If you have any questions or run into issues, the NTA help desk is just a call or email away.
Good luck!
