PM Modi honored with Order of Oman on milestone visit

During his trip to Muscat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the Order of Oman—one of the country's highest civilian awards—from Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
The honor celebrates Modi's role in building stronger India-Oman ties and adds to his long list of international recognitions.
His visit is part of a larger tour that also includes Jordan and Ethiopia.

This visit marks 70 years since India and Oman established diplomatic relations. Both countries are looking to boost strategic partnership in areas like trade, energy, defense, and culture.
