Prime Minister Narendra Modi says PM-VBRY created 7 million jobs
Prime Minister Narendra Modi just shared that the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM-VBRY) has already created 7 million jobs since August 2025.
Out of these, 2 million young people have stuck with their first job for six months, 1 million even got a bonus for it.
The big goal? To hit more than 35 million new jobs over two years, backed by a hefty ₹994.46 billion budget.
PM-VBRY: Workers ₹15,000, employers ₹3,000 monthly
If you're starting your first job through PM-VBRY, you could get up to ₹15,000 as an incentive.
Employers hiring more people can score ₹3,000 per month for each new employee.
Over ₹20 billion has already been paid out to help new workers feel financially secure as they join the workforce.
Modi says this scheme is about building a stronger India and showing the world what young Indians can do.
