Professor V Kamakoti warns NEET 2026 aspirants about Telegram loophole
IIT Madras Director Professor V Kamakoti from IIT Madras has alerted NEET UG 2026 aspirants about a Telegram loophole that could be used to spread fake news about leaked exam questions.
He explained that people can edit old Telegram messages without changing the time they were sent, making it look like leaks happened before the exam, even when they didn't.

IIT Madras Director Professor V Kamakoti pointed out that this trick has created attempts to create confusion and panic in past exams like JEE Advanced and IISER Aptitude Test, sharing screenshots of Telegram channels and demonstrating how the vulnerability could be exploited.
His message to students: Don't get distracted by rumors or unverified posts; just focus on your prep and don't let misinformation mess with your confidence.
