Pune man kills wife, hides body under bridge

In Pune, 36-year-old Sudarshan (Raviraj) Jadhav has been arrested for murdering his eight-month-pregnant wife, Dipali, after a heated argument over their child on October 12, 2025; police say the murder was motivated by his suspicion of infidelity.
Her body was found wrapped in a blanket under a Madanwadi bridge 10 days later.

Man in police custody until October 31

Jadhav had reported Dipali missing on October 14, but police grew suspicious when they found her body with a skull fracture and his name tattooed on her hand.
During questioning, Jadhav admitted to striking her with a stone and disposing of her body at night.
He's now in police custody until October 31 as the investigation continues—bringing attention to serious issues of domestic violence and gender-based harm.
