Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust posts ₹220.81cr income in Ayodhya
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which manages the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, received ₹82.78 crore in donations and earned another ₹138.03 crore from bank interest between April 2025 and February 2026, bringing its total income to ₹220.81 crore.
These details came out during a recent executive meeting in Ayodhya.
Trust spent ₹364.44cr, leftover ₹2,100cr invested
Most donations came through temple donation boxes (₹54.79 crore), cash counters (₹18.88 crore), online payments (₹8.33 crore), and some foreign contributions (₹0.78 crore).
The Trust spent ₹364.44 crore during this period, while leftover construction funds, about ₹2,100 crore, were invested safely across several banks and mutual funds to keep things running smoothly.
Established 2020 to oversee Ram temple
Set up in 2020, the Trust's main job is building and managing the Ram Temple at what's believed to be Lord Rama's birthplace, a spot that holds deep meaning for many Hindus across India.
