Reliance Foundation to revamp Seven Hills into 1,500-bed Mumbai hospital
India
Big news for Mumbai: Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita Ambani just shared that Reliance Foundation is revamping Seven Hills Hospital into Mumbai's largest hospital.
The upgraded hospital will have 1,500 beds and focus on cancer care, organ transplants, emergency services, and conditions like Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
Seven Hills project will use AI
This isn't just a bigger hospital: it's part of Ambani's plan for a "transformative medical city" with cutting-edge tech like AI and digital health tools.
Over 450 beds will be reserved for people from economically weaker sections through a partnership with the BMC.
Plus, as a not-for-profit project under the Reliance Foundation umbrella, it aims to make advanced healthcare more accessible to everyone in Mumbai.
