Stalin urges Jaishankar to aid stranded Tamil Nadu fishermen
Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, M.K. Stalin, has asked Union Minister for External Affairs S. Jaishankar to help bring home about 650 fishermen from the state who are stuck in Iran amid the ongoing tensions in West Asia.
Most of them are from Kanniyakumari, with others from Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, and Ramanathapuram. Their families back home are worried and waiting for updates.
