Composer who accused Diddy of sexual assault comes forward
What's the story
A few days ago, the news of a music producer accusing disgraced rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs of sexual battery in 2020 and 2021 surfaced, adding to the tens of accusations against Diddy. Now, the composer has revealed his identity. Jonathan Hay told CNN that he wanted to come out against Combs way back in 2023, but was afraid to do so. He finally took the step in July 2025 by filing a lawsuit under the pseudonym John Doe.
Allegations
Hay's allegations detailed in police report
The police report, filed in September 2025, details two incidents of sexual battery by Combs. The first incident occurred in 2020 during a photoshoot where Combs allegedly masturbated into one of the shirts of Christopher "The Notorious B.I.G." Wallace and threw it at Hay while saying, "Rest in peace BIG." The second incident took place in 2021 when Combs reportedly forced Hay to perform oral sex on him. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Special Victims Bureau is investigating.
Co-defendant
Hay's lawsuit includes Wallace as co-defendant
Hay's lawsuit also names Wallace's son, CJ Wallace, as a co-defendant, alleging that he conspired with Combs to facilitate the latter's actions against him. In response, Wallace has filed a defamation suit against Hay, claiming that the allegations are false and motivated by anger over Biggie's estate not releasing songs produced by Hay in 2020.
Denial
Combs's legal team denies Hay's allegations
Combs's legal team has categorically denied all allegations made against him, stating that he looks forward to vindicating himself in court. "He cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a media circus," Jonathan Davis, a civil attorney for Combs, said in a statement. "Mr. Combs categorically denies as false and defamatory all claims that he sexually abused anyone." So far, around 70 individuals have brought civil lawsuits against Combs.
Justice
Hay hopes for justice in his case
Despite Combs's denial, Hay remains focused on pursuing justice through his case. He expressed hope that once Combs completes his jail sentence in New Jersey, he will be taken to California to face court proceedings and serve the rest of his life in jail. "I'm hoping that when he gets out of jail...that he spends the rest of his life in jail," Hay said. Currently, the rap mogul is in jail on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution.
