Tamil Nadu appoints 3 prosecutors for R Veeramani POCSO cases

Tamil Nadu has just appointed three Special Public Prosecutors to handle the POCSO cases against R Veeramani, owner of Gem Granites.
These prosecutors (K R Sankaran, M Sandhiya, and Swami Subramanian) will work with a Special Investigation Team to manage these sensitive cases.
Investigations into R Veeramani near completion
Veeramani is facing seven cases under the POCSO Act, plus one case of abetment to suicide of a minor in 2004.
Investigations are wrapping up on some cases, so formal charges could be filed as soon as next week.
