Tragic death from toxic fumes in Chennai

A man and his two teenage sons died in Chennai after accidentally inhaling carbon monoxide from a portable generator left running overnight in their room.
The victims—Selvaraj (57), Sumanraj (15), and Gokulraj (13)—were found in their Puzhal home, making for a deeply sad discovery.

TL;DR

Victims were found in their Puzhal home

Selvaraj's wife found them the next morning and, noticing something was wrong, alerted authorities.
An autopsy confirmed carbon monoxide poisoning as the cause.
This tragedy is a serious reminder: never use generators indoors or without proper ventilation, since carbon monoxide is colorless, odorless—and deadly if it builds up.
