Uttar Pradesh reaches 44 to 45°C while eastern India rains
Saturday's weather is a mixed bag: Uttar Pradesh faces an intense heat wave, with places like Agra, Kanpur, and Prayagraj hitting 44 to 45 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, eastern India is set for widespread rainfall, thunderstorms and localized heavy showers, while southern India will likely receive moderate rainfall, with heavy rain possible in parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh.
A few light showers might pop up in Ghaziabad and Jhansi, but don't expect much relief from the heat.
Eastern and southern India showers expected
Get ready for umbrellas in Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, parts of Bihar, West Bengal (and down south in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, and coastal Andhra Pradesh) where moderate to heavy showers are on the way.
Assam and Meghalaya will keep seeing steady rain too.
While Gujarat and Maharashtra may catch early monsoon vibes soon, parts of central and northern India remain hot, though some areas may see cloud cover or isolated showers.
