VP C.P. Radhakrishnan visits Ladakh ahead of International Yoga Day

Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan is in Ladakh for a three-day trip, just ahead of International Yoga Day on June 21.
He got a warm welcome at Leh Airport from local leaders, and his visit is meant to encourage more people, especially young folks, to get involved in yoga.
VP Radhakrishnan meets Lukung self-help groups
C.P. Radhakrishnan will meet self-help groups in Lukung village and check out how the Vibrant Villages Program is going. He'll also pay tribute at the War Memorial.
Meanwhile, Ladakh's administration is cracking down on single-use plastics and littering with stricter rules and random checks at entry points.
Lt. Gov. Saxena stressed balancing tourism with protecting the region's unique environment.
