Woman arrested for killing puppy after argument with neighbor

A woman, a resident of Kambarasampettai on the outskirts of Tiruchirappalli, was arrested after CCTV footage showed her throwing two puppies against a wall following an earlier argument with her neighbor.
The incident, which happened on March 4, quickly went viral and sparked outrage online.
Both women were arrested
The puppy killing is linked to an ongoing feud between the woman, J Meenakshi Mishra, and her neighbor G Bhuvaneswari.
Earlier that day, Mishra's son was reportedly hurt by a stone thrown by Bhuvaneswari.
Both women ended up being arrested, Mishra for animal cruelty and Bhuvaneswari for injuring the child, as authorities stepped in after complaints from both sides.
