Gionee F205, S11 Lite launched for Rs. 8,999, Rs. 13,999

Chinese phone maker Gionee has launched its F205 and S11 Lite smartphones in India for Rs. 8,999 and Rs. 13,999, respectively. The Gionee F205 comes in Rose, Black, and Blue color options and is available now via offline and online channels. The Gionee S11 Lite comes in Black, Gold, and Dark Blue color options and will become available by May-end.

Key highlights: FullView Display and Face Unlock

Both smartphones feature FullView Display, Face Unlock, Bokeh effect that can blur the out-of-focus parts of an image, and Private Space that lets users block contacts, messages and hide personal information. The devices don't sport a fingerprint sensor and have been manufactured in India itself.

Gionee F205 features 5.45-inch display, 8MP camera

The dual-SIM Gionee F205 sports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 256GB), 8MP rear camera, and 5MP front camera. It is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor and runs Amigo 5.0.11F, the company's own customized OS based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The smartphone is powered by a 2,670mAh battery.

S11 Lite
Gionee S11 Lite features dual rear cameras, 3,030mAh battery

The dual-SIM Gionee S11 Lite sports a 5.7-inch HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 256GB), and 3,030mAh battery. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based Amigo 5.0.13S. It features a dual rear camera setup with 13MP+2MP sensors and a 16MP front camera.
