Vivo's spin-off brand iQoo has debuted in India with its flagship 5G-ready iQoo 3 smartphone. The handset starts at Rs. 36,990, and will be available for purchase starting March 4 via Flipkart and iQoo.com. The key highlights of the phone include its AMOLED screen, 48MP quad rear camera, 5G connectivity, and flagship grade internals. Here's our roundup.

    iQoo 3: At a glance

The iQoo 3 comes with a punch-hole design and an ultra-slim bottom bezel. On the rear, the glass panel houses a rectangular quad camera module with an LED flash. The handset sports a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with a full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution, HDR10+ support, and 180Hz touch sampling rate for more responsive touch experience. Moreover, it sports an in-screen fingerprint reader for secure authentication.

The handset also houses touch-sensitive shoulder triggers

In an attempt to offer a more immersive gaming experience, the iQoo 3 comes equipped with side-mounted touch-sensitive shoulder keys called 'Monster Touch' buttons that help users to achieve quick multi-finger operations while gaming.

For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers

On the imaging front, the iQoo 3 comes equipped with quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, coupled with a 13MP (f/2.4) telephoto lens with 20x digital zoom, a 13MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, video calling, and face unlock, the handset houses a 16MP (f/2.4) front-facing snapper that supports 4K video recording.

Here's a look at the internals

The iQoo 3 is powered by a flagship Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The handset is backed by a 4,440mAh battery with 55W Super FlashCharge technology. In addition, it supports all the latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.

    Finally, what is the pocket-pinch?
