Motorola launches Moto Z2 Force smartphone with shatter-proof screen
Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched its Moto Z2 Force smartphone in India. Just like all the other Force series smartphones, the Moto Z2 Force also sports a shatterproof display, powered by Motorola's ShatterShield technology. The phone has been launched in India at a price of Rs. 34,999 and can be bought from either Flipkart or Moto Hub stores across the country.
The flagship Motorola smartphone features a 5.5-inch QHD display, which comes with a four-year guarantee against screen breakage. The display screen also has a water-repellent nano-coating that reportedly protects it from splashes. The dual-SIM device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and runs the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system (OS).
The smartphone features a 12MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, 6 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of inbuilt storage. Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth v5.0. It also has an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a barometer, a gyroscope, a magnetometer, a proximity sensor, and a fingerprint sensor on the home button.
The Moto Z2 Force sports a 2,730 mAh battery, however, the company is bundling each device with a TurboPower Battery Pack Moto Mod. The battery pack features its own 3500 mAh battery and is priced at Rs. 5,999. The smartphone also comes with a 15 W TurboPower charger that claims to provide up to eight hours of battery life with 15 minutes of charge.
