Serbian ace Novak Djokovic has begun his preparation for the 2026 tennis season in Athens. After winning four titles this year, the 24-time Grand Slam champion is expected grace the impending Australian Open. Although Djokovic has hit the twilight phase of his career, one can't discount his stature at Grand Slams. Along with a potential 25th Major title, he eyes several other feats.

Djokovic set to equal Federer's record
As of now, Djokovic has made a combined total of 80 appearances at Grand Slams (men's singles). According to Opta, the Serb is set to equal Roger Federer and Feliciano Lopez in terms of the most Major appearances during the Open Era (81 each). Richard Gasquet is the only other man with 75-plus such appearances (75), followed by Stan Wawrinka (74).

Djokovic is already the most successful player at the Australian Open. He won 10 titles between 2008 and 2023. As of now, only two other players have won more than 10 titles at a Grand Slam - Rafael Nadal: 14 at French Open and Margaret Court: 11 at AO. With another trophy, Djokovic could join these legends in the all-time list.
