Sahibzada Farhan has made history by becoming the first-ever Pakistani cricketer to hit 100 sixes in a calendar year. The milestone came during the tri-nation T20I series match against Sri Lanka. Farhan's explosive performance helped Pakistan secure a seven-wicket victory over their opponents on Saturday. He scored an unbeaten 80 off just 45 balls, hitting six fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 177.77.

Farhan's unbeaten knock against Sri Lanka took his tally to 102 sixes in T20 cricket this year. He is now the 12th player overall to hit 100 sixes in a calendar year. Farhan has also matched both Karanbir and Pooran for the most 50-plus scores in T20s this year, with each having 15 such scores.

Farhan's unbeaten 80 runs is now the highest individual score for Pakistan against Sri Lanka in T20s. He surpassed Shoaib Malik's previous record of 57 runs during the ICC T20 World Cup 2007. In the match, Sri Lanka opted to bat first after winning the toss. They managed to post a total of 128/7 in their allotted overs, with Janith Liyanage (41*) and Kusal Perera (25) being the top scorers.
