Japanese automaker Kawasaki has unveiled the 2020 edition of its popular sports tourer, the Z900.
The updated model comes with a bunch of visual updates including a new 'Sugomi' design (which mimics an animal ready to pounce) and improved electronic aids. However, mechanically, it remains the same as the outgoing variant.
Here's all about it.

2020 Kawasaki Z900: On the road
-
The 2020 Kawasaki Z900 comes equipped with disc brakes on both wheels along with dual-channel ABS to avoid skidding while braking.
The motorcycle also gets electronic riding aids such as three-level traction control and three riding modes: Sport, Road, and Rain.
Moreover, it houses upside-down forks on the front along with a monoshock unit on the rear for improved damping control.

India launch
And, when will it come to India?
-
There is no word on the availability of the Kawasaki Z900 in India. However, considering that it complies with Euro 5 emission norms (equivalent to upcoming BS6 norms), we expect it to hit the Indian roads sometime in mid-2020.
As for the pocket pinch, it is likely to carry a premium over the existing model which is available at Rs. 7.7 lakh.
