2020 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe breaks cover: Details here
Mercedes-AMG has pulled the covers off the 2020 edition of the performance-oriented GLE 63 Coupe. The new car gets a bunch of cosmetic and feature updates over the outgoing model. It is fueled by a 4.0-liter V8 petrol engine mated to a mild-hybrid system and can do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 3.8 seconds. Here is everything to know.
The 2020 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 Coupe comes with a refreshed look featuring a new chrome-finished "Panamerica" grille, sloping roof design, and AMG-specific 22-inch alloy wheels. The car gets a muscular-looking front bonnet with sculpted lines, a clean rear profile with LED taillamps as well as quad exhausts, and gets a glossy black treatment around the window frames, ORVMs, and side skirts.
Inside, the 2020 GLE 63 Coupe features a luxurious five-seater cabin with power-adjustable seats wrapped in leather, a panoramic sunroof, and a three-spoke multifunctional steering wheel. The premium SUV also gets a centrally-mounted dual-digital display setup for driver display and infotainment. For safety, it offers driver and passenger airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, and a host of driver-centric features, among others.
The 2020 GLE 63 Coupe packs a 4.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. Notably, the latter provides additional 22hp of power and 250Nm of torque when needed. The unit churns out 571hp of power in regular form and 611hp in range-topping S tune. The performance-oriented car has a top speed of 280kmph, and it can do 0-100kmph in 3.8 seconds.
The company has not revealed the pricing and availability details of the 2020 GLE 63 Coupe as of now. However, considering the premium design, hi-tech features, and powerful engine, we expect the car to be priced around Rs. 1 crore.
